Annual Awards Given By Our Club
Live Your Dream Award
This award helps female heads of households improve their employment status or enter the workforce by providing opportunities for further skills development and training.
Georgian Court University Award
This award is given to a newly graduating female undergraduate student who will be pursuing her master’s or doctoral degree at an accredited institution in the subsequent fall semester. The recipient not only has a successful academic career, but has also been actively involved in community service, both on- and off-campus, and has held leadership positions in both volunteer and paid roles.

Striving For Success
This award recognizes the achievements of women who have overcome obstacles and hardships. Specifically, they have exemplified courage, perseverance, and determination to succeed beyond the odds, and strive for success in their career, education, and/or personal lives.
Violet Richardson Award
This award recognizes a young woman between the ages of 14 and 17 who volunteers in her community or school and helps to improve the quality of life for others.
Ocean County College Award
This award is given to an Ocean County graduate who is transferring to a four-year college. The recipient not only has successful academic career goals but has been involved in community services on- or off-campus and in volunteer activities.

Recognizes outstanding female students at Kean Ocean who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a commitment to community service

This award recognizes young women in the Sigma Club for leadership, academic excellence, and community service.
